Reflection

Life doesn't require that we be the best, only that we try our best."

In the forth quarter, I have learned a lot in the ICT subject. Through this matter, i've pick up some lessons all about Adobe Photoshop.

I have encountered a lot of challenges in this last quarter because I believe that everyday there is a trial. We cannot avoid having problems and I think I dont need to specify it. Problems are everywhere.

To overcome every challenges, you just need to have a strong faith in God and in yourself. It is God's will and we all know that God has a reason why we are suffering. He is teaching us to stand up and fight in every challenges that comes in our life and trust him. You will appreciate the fruit of his sacrifices for us.

Moving on, I will study hard and make my parents proud. I know I can do it because they are with me, my friends, my family and especially, Him. You we're put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it courageously.

My dream, my future

The way I see myself ten years ahead of now is not something I often think about. To tell you the truth, it scares me a little to know that in one short decade, i will be twenty five years old and that my years of youth are coming to an end. One thing I'm certain of is that if God gives me opportunity to get to that age, I will make the most of my years and put of my effort to become a successful, happy woman.

A vision I've always had of myself years ahead of now is a wealthy business woman that owns an coffee shop, and is a world-wide well known artist. I will have graduated from a bachelor of science in accountancy from college, as well as a master in business administration.

I'm sure that with perseverance and the help of the people I love, as well as God's, I will have the chance to travel around the world, and known place of incredible beauty. Another one of my wishes is to be able to build a very beautiful house with music studio, a big garden, a couple of dogs and cats, a few nice cars, and maybe even a swimming pool and a hot tub
Other dreams I have include a house lake in America, as well as an apartment in New York, a room share in Steamboat Colorado, and a beautiful house in Puerto San Jose, Guatemala. I'm not very certain I will be living in my native country ten years ahead of now, but I'm certain that I will visit it often to see my family and friends as frequently as my job allows me to. Then years from now, I see myself as a strong, independent, healthy, and most important of all, happy woman, and I'm aware that the only person that can get me there is myself by putting all the passion, effort, and determination I have in everything I do.

change, it starts with me

Image result for change it starts with me

Change? It starts with me. It starts with a thought that maybe things can be better than they are now or a hope. We will explore and encounter how that might happen. We accept that we do have the power to make change not just ourselves but the world. We are making change without negative, blaming others, shutting down new ideas, thinking it is not worth the effort.

In order to make change, be a better person, think of what you have done before and make it as an inspiration, for all your mistakes that you've done make it as a lesson, and make a change for yourself because change starts with you.

New year, new me.

Last year is full of memories that can be kept. A lot of people that have been a part of my life. There are people who changed me to be a better one and lessons to cope up.

This is not the beginning of a new chapter in my life; this is the beginning of a new book. That first book is already closed, ended, and tossed into the seas; this new book is newly opened, has just begun!

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly, you're doing something.

Reflection

"Difficult roads often leads to a beautiful destination."

In this grading, I feel relaxed because of the holidays especially the birth of Jesus Christ which is the Christmas. Though, there are still requirements that needed to be pass. This grading is not that hard because of the rest days. It seems like everybody enjoyed this grading.

Being here in this journey is really interesting because it is getting harder for us students to reach our destination. I realized that you don't need to pressure yourself in your studies. As long as you're enjoying what you are doing, making plans for your future, and making God the center of all.

"Life doesn't require that we be the best, only that we try our best."

Moving on, I will study hard, I will face all the problems and be strong with all the pains. As the years ends, I will change myself to be a better one.

Essence of Christmas

Every person has his own priorities, his own wants and needs. Some people may choose material things, while others may prefer tangible ones such as love, peace, prosperity and good health among others.

This Christmas Season, it is important for us to bear in our minds the reason why we are celebrating this yuletide season in the first place. In this month of December, it is a must for us to remember that our Lord came in this world in order to save us from our sins. He came to redeem us from the wickedness of this world.

Anyway, the essence of celebrating Christmas season is not to have a house full of christmas lights, having a tall and beautiful christmas tree full of girfs underneath it and giving expensive gifts. Christmas basically means sharing what you have, not just the material things but also those that can only be felt like a warm tight hug, a simple thank you, showing our appreciation to our loved ones and forgiveness among others.

Save our paradise, our earth

"When we heal the earth, we heal ourselves."
    -David Orr

Environmental awareness means being aware of the natural environment and making choices that benefit the earth, rather than hurt it.

Environmental awareness provides the people of the world with opportunities to acquire the required knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values needed to protect, conserve and improve the environment for its present and future generations. ... While meeting the ever-growing needs, we put pressure on the environment.

Our surroundings is where we live. We need to protect this and make a way to improve it. Love and care is what it needed. Environmental awareness is a must.

Children's rights is a must

"Children are not only innocent and curious but also optimistic and joyful and essentially happy. They are, in short, everything adults wish they could be."
      -Carolyn Haywood

The Department of Education (DepEd) enjoined all private and public elementary and secondary schools to undertake activities in line with the celebration of the 2019 National Children’s Month (NCM) this November

With the theme, “Karapatang Pambata: Patuloy na Pahalagahan at Gampanan tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan,” this year’s celebration of the NCM is made extra special as it coincides with the 30th Anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC)

Worth fighting for

  https://images.app.goo.gl/wtSjmEfmcUj5tRS96
"Instead of letting your hardships and failures discourage or exhaust you, let them inspire you."
                                                                    -Michelle Obama

I've been stressed, frustrated, and tired in this grading. I'm also used in rushing things, staring blankly and my mind's not functioning. I'm stuck between giving up and to fight. But I realized that however life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.

The lessons that I've have learned in this grading is what I really need to keep. It is not just all about what you wrote in your notes. It is also how you fight in every challenges.

"Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustration, but about you unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but what it is still possible for you to do."
                                  -Pope JohnXXIIII

Moving on, I will study hard and chase my dreams. I'm waiting for the time that my parents will cry not because of sadness but because of watching me receiving my diploma wearing my toga.

Teachers: our second Queen

https://images.app.goo.gl/dXT9pKTwfYFLGS3e8                   "Teachers can change lives with just the right mix of chalk and challenges."
                                          -Joyce Meyer

Teachers' Day is a special day for the appreciation of our second parents, and many include celebrations to honor and thank them for their special contributions in the community.

Students have their own special surprises for their teachers. Cakes, balloons, and thank you cards. A warm hand embraces my heart as I watched the teacher's eyes smiling. They are watching the students performing an intermission number and receiving an effort from their students.

Our second parents, our hero. They are the one who guided us through our destination. One who helps us, supports us for chasing our dreams. They are our teachers.

Week of Excitement

"You are never really playing an opponent. You are playing yourself, your own highest standards and when you reach your limits, that is real joy."
                                                                      -Arthur Ashe

Intramurals is to provide opportunities for leadership, teamwork, fellowship, and physical exercise while participating in the various areas of athletic competition.

Intramurals is not all about sports. It is all about having fun and staying away from stress and frustration.

Athletes learned their lesson that you don't need to win a game as long as you enjoyed it, it's worth it.

The excitement and joy that I have felt is priceless as I watched the boys and girls taking a bath with their own sweats and playing their own sports. It is really a stress free week.

School: a place of bliss

"Happiness and school quality are inseparable as the happy schools framework serves as reference for measuring the quality of our education."

School is where we can experience being happy and excited yet stressed and depressed. Every student seldom enjoys their vacation because of the requirements. Also, teachers can't have their quality time with their family and love ones because of focusing in their work. The Department of Education(DepEd)-Region1 had launched the "Happy Schools Movement" to boost the efficient implementation of the K-12 basic education curriculum in the Ilocos province.

Happy School Movement is the key to a happy learning community. It makes us feel relax as we join the said activity. Every department have their own unique exhibit to show the main necessity of every subject. The movement seeks to promote every school as a better and enjoyable place to study and aims to inculcate in the minds of students that school is not just a place for learning but also a place for fun and enjoyment as we enjoy what we are  doing.

"Our credo for this movement is Region 1 is a region of happy schools with disciplined, value-laden, and motivated learning communities of holistically developed Filipinos with 21st century skills," Garma said.
